He writes this way in all his letters, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.
Or in all the letters

As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things. In those, there are some things that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

2 Peter 3:14–18 · Berean Standard Bible
14 Therefore, beloved, as you anticipate these things, make every effort to be found at peace—spotless and blameless in His sight.
15 Consider also that our Lord’s patience brings salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom God gave him.
16 He writes this way in all his letters, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.
17 Therefore, beloved, since you already know these things, be on your guard so that you will not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure standing.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

1 Peter 1:1Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To the elect who are exiles of the Dispersion throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, chosen
Romans 8:1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:2For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:3For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He thus condemned sin in the flesh,
Romans 8:4so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
Romans 8:5Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
Romans 8:6The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace,
Romans 8:7because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.
Romans 8:8Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God.
Romans 8:9You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
Romans 8:10But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
Romans 8:11And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.
Romans 8:12Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation, but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.
Romans 8:13For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
Romans 8:14For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Romans 8:15For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
Romans 8:16The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
Romans 8:17And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him.
Romans 8:18I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us.
Romans 8:19The creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God.
Romans 8:20For the creation was subjected to futility, not by its own will, but because of the One who subjected it, in hope
Romans 8:21that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
Romans 8:22We know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until the present time.
Romans 8:23Not only that, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
Romans 8:24For in this hope we were saved; but hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he can already see?
Romans 8:25But if we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it patiently.
Romans 8:26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words.
Romans 8:27And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
Romans 8:28And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:29For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.
Romans 8:30And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.
Romans 8:31What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:32He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, freely give us all things?
Romans 8:33Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
Romans 8:34Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God—and He is interceding for us.
Romans 8:35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
Romans 8:36As it is written: “For Your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
Romans 8:37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Romans 8:38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
Romans 8:39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:1Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, and in which you stand firm.
1 Corinthians 15:2By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:3For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
1 Corinthians 15:4that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
1 Corinthians 15:5and that He appeared to Cephas and then to the Twelve.
1 Corinthians 15:6After that, He appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.
1 Corinthians 15:7Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
1 Corinthians 15:8And last of all He appeared to me also, as to one of untimely birth.
1 Corinthians 15:9For I am the least of the apostles and am unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
1 Corinthians 15:10But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not in vain. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
1 Corinthians 15:11Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.
1 Corinthians 15:12But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
1 Corinthians 15:13If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.
1 Corinthians 15:14And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is worthless, and so is your faith.
1 Corinthians 15:15In that case, we are also exposed as false witnesses about God. For we have testified about God that He raised Christ from the dead, but He did not raise Him if in fact the dead are not raised.
1 Corinthians 15:16For if the dead are not raised, then not even Christ has been raised.
1 Corinthians 15:17And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
1 Corinthians 15:18Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
1 Corinthians 15:19If our hope in Christ is for this life alone, we are to be pitied more than all men.
1 Corinthians 15:20But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
1 Corinthians 15:21For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.
1 Corinthians 15:22For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
1 Corinthians 15:23But each in his own turn: Christ the firstfruits; then at His coming, those who belong to Him.
1 Corinthians 15:24Then the end will come, when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father after He has destroyed all dominion, authority, and power.
1 Corinthians 15:25For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.
1 Corinthians 15:26The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
1 Corinthians 15:27For “God has put everything under His feet.” Now when it says that everything has been put under Him, this clearly does not include the One who put everything under Him.
1 Corinthians 15:28And when all things have been subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will be made subject to Him who put all things under Him, so that God may be all in all.
1 Corinthians 15:29If these things are not so, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized for them?
1 Corinthians 15:30And why do we endanger ourselves every hour?
1 Corinthians 15:31I face death every day, brothers, as surely as I boast about you in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:32If I fought wild beasts in Ephesus for human motives, what did I gain? If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”
1 Corinthians 15:33Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
1 Corinthians 15:34Sober up as you ought, and stop sinning; for some of you are ignorant of God. I say this to your shame.
1 Corinthians 15:35But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?”
1 Corinthians 15:36You fool! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.
1 Corinthians 15:37And what you sow is not the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or something else.
1 Corinthians 15:38But God gives it a body as He has designed, and to each kind of seed He gives its own body.
1 Corinthians 15:39Not all flesh is the same: Men have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another, and fish another.
1 Corinthians 15:40There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. But the splendor of the heavenly bodies is of one degree, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is of another.
1 Corinthians 15:41The sun has one degree of splendor, the moon another, and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.
1 Corinthians 15:42So will it be with the resurrection of the dead: What is sown is perishable; it is raised imperishable.
1 Corinthians 15:43It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
1 Corinthians 15:44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
1 Corinthians 15:45So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being;” the last Adam a life-giving spirit.
1 Corinthians 15:46The spiritual, however, was not first, but the natural, and then the spiritual.
1 Corinthians 15:47The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:48As was the earthly man, so also are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:49And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so also shall we bear the likeness of the heavenly man.
1 Corinthians 15:50Now I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
1 Corinthians 15:51Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—
1 Corinthians 15:52in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
1 Corinthians 15:53For the perishable must be clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.
1 Corinthians 15:54When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come to pass: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
1 Corinthians 15:55“Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?”
1 Corinthians 15:56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
1 Corinthians 15:57But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
1 Corinthians 15:58Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable. Always excel in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
1 Thessalonians 4:1Finally, brothers, we ask and encourage you in the Lord Jesus to live in a way that is pleasing to God, just as you have received from us. This is how you already live, so you should do so all the more.
1 Thessalonians 4:2For you know the instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 4:3For it is God’s will that you should be holy: You must abstain from sexual immorality;
1 Thessalonians 4:4each of you must know how to control his own body in holiness and honor,
1 Thessalonians 4:5not in lustful passion like the Gentiles who do not know God;
2 Kings 1:1After the death of Ahab, Moab rebelled against Israel.
2 Kings 1:2Now Ahaziah had fallen through the lattice of his upper room in Samaria and injured himself. So he sent messengers and instructed them: “Go inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I will recover from this injury.”
2 Kings 1:3But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, “Go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and ask them, ‘Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are on your way to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?’
2 Kings 1:4Therefore this is what the LORD says: ‘You will not get up from the bed on which you are lying. You will surely die.’” So Elijah departed.
2 Kings 1:5When the messengers returned to the king, he asked them, “Why have you returned?”
2 Kings 1:6They replied, “A man came up to meet us and said, ‘Go back to the king who sent you and tell him that this is what the LORD says: Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending these men to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not get up from the bed on which you are lying. You will surely die.’”
2 Kings 1:7The king asked them, “What sort of man came up to meet you and spoke these words to you?”
2 Kings 1:8“He was a hairy man,” they answered, “with a leather belt around his waist.” “It was Elijah the Tishbite,” said the king.
2 Kings 1:9Then King Ahaziah sent to Elijah a captain with his company of fifty men. So the captain went up to Elijah, who was sitting on top of a hill, and said to him, “Man of God, the king declares, ‘Come down!’”
2 Kings 1:10Elijah answered the captain, “If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” And fire came down from heaven and consumed the captain and his fifty men.
2 Kings 1:11So the king sent to Elijah another captain with his fifty men. And the captain said to Elijah, “Man of God, the king declares, ‘Come down at once!’”
2 Kings 1:12Again Elijah replied, “If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” And the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed the captain and his fifty men.
2 Kings 1:13So the king sent a third captain with his fifty men. And the third captain went up, fell on his knees before Elijah, and begged him, “Man of God, may my life and the lives of these fifty servants please be precious in your sight.
2 Kings 1:14Behold, fire has come down from heaven and consumed the first two captains of fifty, with all their men. But now may my life be precious in your sight.”
2 Kings 1:15Then the angel of the LORD said to Elijah, “Go down with him. Do not be afraid of him.” So Elijah got up and went down with him to the king.
2 Kings 1:16And Elijah said to King Ahaziah, “This is what the LORD says: Is there really no God in Israel for you to inquire of His word? Is that why you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not get up from the bed on which you are lying. You will surely die.”
2 Kings 1:17So Ahaziah died according to the word of the LORD that Elijah had spoken. And since he had no son, Jehoram succeeded him in the second year of the reign of Jehoram son of Jehoshaphat over Judah.
2 Kings 1:18As for the rest of the acts of Ahaziah, along with his accomplishments, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
