1 Corinthians 3:7–11 · Berean Standard Bible
7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
8 He who plants and he who waters are one in purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor.
9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.
10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one must be careful how he builds.
11 For no one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Matthew 13:3And He told them many things in parables, saying, “A farmer went out to sow his seed.
Matthew 13:4And as he was sowing, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it.
Matthew 13:5Some fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly because the soil was shallow.
Matthew 13:6But when the sun rose, the seedlings were scorched, and they withered because they had no root.

Matthew 13:8Still other seed fell on good soil and produced a crop—a hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirtyfold.
Matthew 13:9He who has ears, let him hear.”
Matthew 13:18Consider, then, the parable of the sower:
Matthew 13:19When anyone hears the message of the kingdom but does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path.
Matthew 13:20The seed sown on rocky ground is the one who hears the word and at once receives it with joy.
Matthew 13:21But since he has no root, he remains for only a season. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away.
Matthew 13:22The seed sown among the thorns is the one who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
Matthew 13:23But the seed sown on good soil is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and produces a crop—a hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirtyfold.”
Matthew 13:24Jesus put before them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.
Matthew 13:25But while everyone was asleep, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and slipped away.
Matthew 13:26When the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the weeds also appeared.
Matthew 13:27The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’
Matthew 13:28‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. So the servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’
Matthew 13:29‘No,’ he said, ‘if you pull the weeds now, you might uproot the wheat with them.
Matthew 13:30Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat into my barn.’”
Matthew 13:36Then Jesus dismissed the crowds and went into the house. His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”
Matthew 13:37He replied, “The One who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.
Matthew 13:38The field is the world, and the good seed represents the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one,
Matthew 13:39and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.
Matthew 13:40As the weeds are collected and burned in the fire, so will it be at the end of the age.
Matthew 13:41The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom every cause of sin and all who practice lawlessness.
Matthew 13:42And they will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 20:1“For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.
Matthew 20:2He agreed to pay them a denarius for the day and sent them into his vineyard.
Matthew 20:3About the third hour he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing.
Matthew 20:4‘You also go into my vineyard,’ he said, ‘and I will pay you whatever is right.’
Matthew 20:5So they went. He went out again about the sixth hour and the ninth hour and did the same thing.
Matthew 20:6About the eleventh hour he went out and found still others standing around. ‘Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’ he asked.
Matthew 20:7‘Because no one has hired us,’ they answered. So he told them, ‘You also go into my vineyard.’
Matthew 20:8When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the workers and pay them their wages, starting with the last ones hired and moving on to the first.’
Matthew 20:9The workers who were hired about the eleventh hour came and each received a denarius.
Matthew 20:10So when the original workers came, they assumed they would receive more. But each of them also received a denarius.
Matthew 20:11On receiving their pay, they began to grumble against the landowner.
Matthew 20:12‘These men who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the scorching heat of the day.’
Matthew 20:13But he answered one of them, ‘Friend, I am not being unfair to you. Did you not agree with me on one denarius?
Matthew 20:14Take your pay and go. I want to give this last man the same as I gave you.
Matthew 21:23When Jesus returned to the temple courts and began to teach, the chief priests and elders of the people came up to Him. “By what authority are You doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave You this authority?”
Matthew 21:24“I will also ask you one question,” Jesus replied, “and if you answer Me, I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
Matthew 21:25What was the source of John’s baptism? Was it from heaven or from men?” They deliberated among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will ask, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’
Matthew 21:26But if we say, ‘From men,’ we are afraid of the people, for they all regard John as a prophet.”
Matthew 21:27So they answered, “We do not know.” And Jesus replied, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
Matthew 21:28But what do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first one and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’
Matthew 21:29‘I will not,’ he replied. But later he changed his mind and went.
Matthew 21:30Then the man went to the second son and told him the same thing. ‘I will, sir,’ he said. But he did not go.
Matthew 21:31Which of the two did the will of his father?” “The first,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God before you.
Matthew 21:32For John came to you in a righteous way and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.
Matthew 21:33Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it, and built a tower. Then he rented it out to some tenants and went away on a journey.
Matthew 21:34When the harvest time drew near, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his share of the fruit.
Matthew 21:35But the tenants seized his servants. They beat one, killed another, and stoned a third.
Matthew 21:36Again, he sent other servants, more than the first group. But the tenants did the same to them.
Matthew 21:37Finally, he sent his son to them. ‘They will respect my son,’ he said.
Matthew 21:38But when the tenants saw the son, they said to one another, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and take his inheritance.’
Matthew 21:39So they seized him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.
Matthew 21:40Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard returns, what will he do to those tenants?”
Matthew 21:41“He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,” they replied, “and will rent out the vineyard to other tenants who will give him his share of the fruit at harvest time.”
Matthew 21:42Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?
Matthew 21:43Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.
Matthew 21:44He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed.”
Mark 4:26Jesus also said, “The kingdom of God is like a man who scatters seed on the ground.
Mark 4:27Night and day he sleeps and wakes, and the seed sprouts and grows, though he knows not how.

John 15:1“I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard.
John 15:2He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful.
John 15:3You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
John 15:4Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.
John 15:5I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.
John 15:6If anyone does not remain in Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are gathered up, thrown into the fire, and burned.
John 15:7If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
