John 5:44–47 · Berean Standard Bible
44 How can you believe if you accept glory from one another, yet do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?
45 Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, in whom you have put your hope.
46 If you had believed Moses, you would believe Me, because he wrote about Me.
47 But since you do not believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say?”

Galatians 2:19For through the law I died to the law so that I might live to God.
Galatians 3:10All who rely on works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”
Galatians 3:13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”

Galatians 4:21Tell me, you who want to be under the law, do you not understand what the law says?
Galatians 4:22For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman.
Galatians 4:23His son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but his son by the free woman was born through the promise.
Galatians 4:24These things serve as illustrations, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children into slavery: This is Hagar.
Galatians 4:25Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present-day Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children.
Galatians 4:26But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother.
Galatians 4:27For it is written: “Rejoice, O barren woman, who bears no children; break forth and cry aloud, you who have never travailed; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband.”
Galatians 4:28Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.
Galatians 4:29At that time, however, the son born by the flesh persecuted the son born by the Spirit. It is the same now.
Galatians 4:30But what does the Scripture say? “Expel the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.”
Galatians 4:31Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.

Numbers 21:9So Moses made a bronze snake and mounted it on a pole. If anyone who was bitten looked at the bronze snake, he would live.
Numbers 24:17I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come forth from Jacob, and a scepter will arise from Israel. He will crush the skulls of Moab and strike down all the sons of Sheth.

Acts 26:22But I have had God’s help to this day, and I stand here to testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen:
Romans 10:4For Christ is the end of the law, to bring righteousness to everyone who believes.
Hebrews 7:1This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,
Hebrews 7:2and Abraham apportioned to him a tenth of everything. First, his name means “king of righteousness.” Then also, “king of Salem” means “king of peace.”
Hebrews 7:3Without father or mother or genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God, he remains a priest for all time.
Hebrews 7:4Consider how great Melchizedek was: Even the patriarch Abraham gave him a tenth of the plunder.
Hebrews 7:5Now the law commands the sons of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people—that is, from their brothers—though they too are descended from Abraham.
Hebrews 7:6But Melchizedek, who did not trace his descent from Levi, collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises.
Hebrews 7:7And indisputably, the lesser is blessed by the greater.
Hebrews 7:8In the case of the Levites, mortal men collect the tenth; but in the case of Melchizedek, it is affirmed that he lives on.
Hebrews 7:9And so to speak, Levi, who collects the tenth, paid the tenth through Abraham.
